GLOUCESTER, Mass. – Twelve members of the Skidmore College hockey team were recognized by the American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) in the ninth annual Krampade All-American Scholars.
 
Representing Skidmore on the list was Alex Bonrouhi, Mitchell Floccare, Freddie Ilias, Scott Lagos, Zach Lindewirth, Danny Magnuson, Stephen Perez, Sam Saccone, Joshua Seeley, Jack Strauss, Oscar Worob, and Jacob Zwirecki.
 
To qualify, a student-athlete must have attained a 3.75 grade point average for each semester and had to appear in a minimum of 40 percent of the team's games. Exceptions were granted to injured players and back-up goaltenders.
 
Combined over Division II and III, 1,123 (664 men, 459 women) student-athletes were recognized, a 35 percent increase from last year.
