All-Liberty League Softball 2025

Four from softball earn All-Liberty League accolades

TROY, N.Y. – Four members of the Skidmore College softball team have earned All-Liberty League status as voted on by the league's coaches. First-year Sam Waters earned a spot on the First Team, while Elle Harrison, Rachel Monser, and Jessica Nachamie were all voted to the Second Team.
 
Sam Waters (#4, Fr., IF, Kingston, Massachusetts) – All-Liberty League First Team
The team leader in batting average against conference opponents hit .425 in 13 league games with seven triples, a homer, and seven RBI. Overall, Waters batted .377 in her debut season with 13 extra-base hits, 23 stolen bases, and a team high 33 runs scored. She led the Liberty League in triples and stolen bases. She also played to a .938 fielding percentage at second base.
 
Elle Harrison (#5, Jr., OF, Penn Yan, New York) – All-Liberty League Second Team
Harrison hit .402 in her junior season with 21 runs scored, 20 stolen bases, and a .468 on-base percentage. She reached base at a .447 clip in 14 conference games with 11 stolen bases and a team-high three sacrifice bunts. Patrolling center field, Harrison boasted a .969 fielding percentage overall with a pair of outfield assists.
 
Rachel Monser (#17, So., OF/P, Virginia Beach, Virginia) - All-Liberty League Second Team
Monser excelled when league play came around. She hit .417 in 13 conference games with a double, homer, and eight runs scored. She hit .338 overall as a sophomore. Monser also appeared in seven games in the circle for the Thoroughbreds and earned the win April 29 against MCLA.
 
Jessica Nachamie (#15, Sr., C/IF, Merrick, New York) - All-Liberty League Second Team
The team leader in most offensive categories, Nachamie hit .410 in her senior season with six home runs and 41 RBI while drawing 13 walks for a .470 on-base percentage. She held consistent through league play, hitting .405 in 14 Liberty League contests with four homers and 20 RBI. She finished the season ranked fourth in the conference in hitting, second in RBI, and fourth in on-base percentage.
