MEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP:Â
Top-seeded RPI has won three straight Liberty League men's tennis titles and four in the past seven years. Only one other time in the league's history has a school captured four straight men's tennis titles (
Skidmore from 2014 to 2017). The Engineers, who enter the league tournament having won 12 straight matches have won six of their eight Liberty League matches by 7-0 scores this season. The only exceptions were road matches against
Skidmore and Vassar, which both resulted in 5-2 victories. RPI senior Aiden Drover-Mattinen is currently 31-1 in singles play this season, including a perfect 17-0 record at first singles. As of April 30, there are six Liberty League teams ranked in the latest ITA Top-75 poll — RPI (10),
Skidmore (42), Hobart (45), RIT (62), Vassar (69) and Ithaca (74).
