MEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP:
Top-seeded RPI has won three straight Liberty League men's tennis titles and four in the past seven years. Only one other time in the league's history has a school captured four straight men's tennis titles (Skidmore from 2014 to 2017). The Engineers, who enter the league tournament having won 12 straight matches have won six of their eight Liberty League matches by 7-0 scores this season. The only exceptions were road matches against Skidmore and Vassar, which both resulted in 5-2 victories. RPI senior Aiden Drover-Mattinen is currently 31-1 in singles play this season, including a perfect 17-0 record at first singles. As of April 30, there are six Liberty League teams ranked in the latest ITA Top-75 poll — RPI (10), Skidmore (42), Hobart (45), RIT (62), Vassar (69) and Ithaca (74).
