SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY – The No. 33 Skidmore College women's tennis team were defeated 7-0 by No. 25 Brandeis at the McCaffery-Wagman Tennis and Wellness Center on Sunday afternoon.

DOUBLES MATCHES

• In first doubles, the senior duo of Konika Dhull and Grace Truong lost a closely-contested 6-4 battle to Brandeis' Suarez and Parwani that saw the Skidmore duo tie the match at 3-3 early before later pulling within 5-4.
• In second doubles, the pairing of senior Ella Provost and junior Beilynn Geiss won one game before ultimately falling 6-1 to the Judges' duo of Zhang and Reyes.
• In third doubles, the freshman duo of Mia Sarzynska and Juliette Ceas came out on top in two games but fell 6-2 to Brandeis' Denis and Sia.

SINGLES MATCHES

• In first singles, Dhull lost 6-0 in the first set to Brandeis' Suarez before falling by a narrow 6-4 margin in set two to nearly force a third-set tiebreaker.
• In second singles, Truong was able to win four games in the first set against the Judges' Parwani, before winning a pair in set two to ultimately fall 6-4, 6-2.
• In third singles, Provost fell 6-2 in set one to Brandeis' Budhbhatti before also losing 6-3 in the second set.
• In fourth singles, Geiss similarly fell in straight sets 6-2, 6-3 to Brandeis' Zhang.
• In fifth singles, sophomore Coco Prokop lost 6-2 in set one to the Judges' Sia before falling by a narrow 6-4 margin in set two to nearly force a third-set tiebreaker.
• In sixth singles, Sarzynska was narrowly beat out in set one, 6-4, by Brandeis' Reyes before losing 6-1 in set two.
