MIDDLEBURY, VT – The No. 30 Skidmore College women's tennis team lost 7-0 to No. 8 Middlebury on the road Sunday afternoon.

DOUBLES MATCHES

• In first doubles, Skidmore's star senior duo of Konika Dhull and Grace Truong lost 6-2 to Middlebury's Raman and Farhat.
• In second doubles, the Thoroughbreds duo of senior Ella Provost and junior Beilynn Geiss fell 6-0 to the Panthers tandem of Van Wieren and Miller.
• In third doubles, the Skidmore pairing of sophomore Coco Prokop and freshman Juliette Ceas fell 6-2 to Middlebury's Van Der Reis and Wu.

SINGLES MATCHES

• In first singles, Dhull fell to Middlebury's Van Wieren after initially losing a competitive first set in tiebreaks, 7-6, which was followed up with a 6-1 second set defeat.
• In second singles, Provost fell in straight sets to Middlebury's Miller after losing both sets by a 6-2 final score.
• In third singles, Geiss put up a valiant effort by picking up four games against Middlebury's Wu in a first set defeat, before losing steam and falling 6-0 in set two.
• In fourth singles, freshman Mia Sarzynska took three games in both sets but ultimately lost in straight sets to Middlebury's Van Der Reis.
• In fifth and sixth singles, Prokop and Ceas each picked up one game against Middlebury's McCann and Farhat in a pair of straight sets defeats.
