EJ Stefanelli (baseball) and
Mike Aiello (men's lacrosse) were selected as Liberty League Rookies of the Week for the week ending March 16. Additionally, five other Skidmore College student-athletes were selected to their respective honor rolls. Skidmore was represented on the honor roll by

EJ Stefanelli (#30, Fy., OF/C, Monmouth Beach, New Jersey) – Liberty League Baseball Rookie of the Week
Stefanelli burst onto the scene for the Thoroughbreds last week in Florida. The first-year hit .393 (11-for-28) over seven games with a tripe, two doubles, and 10 RBI. He also scored seven runs and reached base at a .514 clip. In Saturday's first game against Alfred State, Stefanelli went 3-for-4 with three RBI including his walk-off single in the bottom of the seventh inning.

Mike Aiello (#3, Fy., A, Rockville Centre, New York) – Liberty League Men's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week
Over two games last week, the Skidmore first-year attackman scored seven goals with two assists for nine points. He had two goals and an assist on Wednesday at Washington College (Md.) in a low-scoring battle before exploding for five goals and an assist in a big win on Saturday at Hartford, a game where he did not commit a turnover. He also tallied two ground balls, one man-up goal, and fired 14 shots on target.

Ewen Donald (#20, Sr., OF, Kimberton, Pennsylvania) – Liberty League Baseball Honor Roll
Donald hit .484 (15-for-31) over seven games for the Thoroughbreds in Florida last week, where he recorded at least one base hit in all seven contests. The senior knocked in nine runs, scored 11 times, and hit five doubles. He also worked a pair of walks and was hit by a pitch to post a .529 on-base percentage for the week. Donald reached base all five times against Dean on Friday when he went 3-for-3 with two doubles, three RBI, and a pair of walks.

Chase Siegel (#34, So., P, Westport, Connecticut) – Liberty League Baseball Honor Roll
Siegel was locked in a pitchers' duel on Friday against Otterbein. He went seven innings, allowing two runs (one earned) on four hits. Siegel struck out seven and issued just one walk in his strong start against the Cardinals. Skidmore struck for 13 runs in the top of the eighth inning giving Siegel his second victory of the year.

Jason Fastiggi (#34, Jr., M, Yorktown Heights, New York) – Liberty League Men's Lacrosse Honor Roll
Fastiggi went 27-for-41 (.659) over two games last week in the faceoff circle for Skidmore. The junior transfer went 12-5 on Wednesday at Washington College (Md.) and won 15-of-25 Saturday in the victory at Hartford. He also racked up 13 ground balls and a pair of caused turnovers.

Julia Cafasso (#27, Jr., M, Manhasset, New York) – Liberty League Women's Lacrosse Honor Roll
Cafasso scored 12 goals with three assists for 15 points in three games for the Thoroughbreds last week. She scored a combined nine goals across two games in Florida before recording five points again, for the third time in a row, with three goals and two assists to help Skidmore open Liberty League play with a big win at Bard on Saturday. She also racked up three caused turnovers, five ground balls, the game-winning goal against Marymount late in regulation, and 17 shots on goal. Â

Jessica Nachamie (#15, Sr., C/IF, Merrick, New York) – Liberty League Softball Honor Roll
Nachamie hit .438 (7-for-16) over Skidmore's six games last week on its trip in Florida. The senior hit a home run and drove in four runs. She also scored three times and went a perfect 1-for-1 stealing bases. She finished with a .471 on-base percentage. Defensively, Nachamie handled each of her team-high 19 chances without an error.
