- The Thoroughbreds again built a lead in the low double digits, going as high as 13, in the third quarter before a 10-0 Garnet Charger run that lasted over six minutes made it a three-point game.
- Chambers drilled a 3-pointer to end the Skidmore scoreless stretch, but Ardito came back with a bomb of her own for the visitors to send the game into the fourth quarter with just a three-point Skidmore lead.
- Skidmore's only field goal of the fourth quarter, after Chambers drilled a triple early, was a Davidson layup with 2:50 left to make it 46-41. Skidmore opened the period with four unanswered points to go up seven before Union clawed its way back in it.
- Union briefly got to within two points in the middle of the fourth on an Olivia Cunningham mid-range jumper before a Davidson free throw quickly got it back to three.
