SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY – The Skidmore College men's and women's swimming and diving teams wrapped up a competitive day in the pool by picking up a pair of Stable Game victories over Vassar at the Williamson Sports Center pool on Saturday afternoon.
The Thoroughbreds won nine events on the men's side to clinch the 164-123 dual meet victory, while the women improved to a perfect 4-0 start on the season after winning seven events and holding off the Brewers for the closely-contested 153-141 win.
"Our athletes performed extremely well today. As always, league rival Vassar challenged us and forced our team to win close races," said head coach
Jill Greenleaf. "We relied heavily on our team depth and our divers for the wins. Each week, our athletes are making progress in practice and we are seeing some of those results in competition."
