SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The Skidmore College volleyball team, after winning its first postseason match in 13 years, is hitting the road for the Liberty League final four this weekend at Ithaca College. The Thoroughbreds will take on the host Bombers on Friday at 4 p.m.

ABOUT SKIDMORE
The Thoroughbreds defeated Vassar on Tuesday night in a five-set thriller to play in their first semifinal since 2017. Skidmore is 16-9 and went 5-3 in the Liberty League to earn the four seed and home first-round match. The Thoroughbreds enter the semifinal on a seven-match winning streak and are winners in nine out of their last 10.

The nationally 15^th-ranked Bombers had a first-round bye as the league's top seed. Ithaca is 24-4 and went a perfect 8-0 in Liberty League play. Last time out, the Bombers went 2-1 at the Emory Invitational in Atlanta with wins over Randolph-Macon and Washington and Lee, as well as a four-set loss to host Emory.
