SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY – The Skidmore College men's soccer team took care of business on Senior Day with a wire-to-wire 5-0 shutout victory over Bard at Wachenheim Field on Saturday afternoon.
Now in sole possession of second seed following a Vassar-Hobart tie, the Thoroughbreds (8-2-3, 4-1-1 Liberty League) quickly took command of the match after junior
Colin Goodhines completed a first-half brace within the opening 18 minutes. Not taking the foot off the pedal, Skidmore eventually ballooned the lead in the second half to overwhelm the Raptors (8-5-2, 0-4-2 Liberty League) for the decisive conference victory.
Prior to the match, Skidmore honored the eight members of the 2025 senior class with senior day celebrations:
Will Devall,
Carter Capodanno,
Dillon Nelson,
Cole Rogan,
Josh Hocheiser,
Rumi Schemmerer,
Tobias Catizone and
Connor Mansfield.

- In the 75th minute, the Thoroughbreds executed a brilliant transition sequence as freshman Nick Miller first connected with sophomore Kyle Girouard, who followed with a quick touch pass to junior Edo Ferrari for the uncontested finish.
