MADISON, N.J. – The doubles team of
Nika Mori and
Fletcher King won three matches to reach the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Northeast Regional Semifinal. The Skidmore pair was defeated by a team from RPI (8-2) in Saturday's semifinal.

Skidmore's other day tow qualifier,
Yuval Goodman, lost to Connor Griff (6-3, 6-4) on Saturday in the Round of 16.

DAY 1 – FRIDAYÂ
SinglesÂ
- Goodman advanced to day two in the singles tournament with a pair of wins. In the opening round, his opponent withdrew. Then, in the Round of 32, he won a dramatic three-set marathon over Joseph Braun from Vassar (6-2, 1-6, 13-11).Â
- Griffin Biernat made it to the Round of 32 with a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Drew's Danie Arcari. He then came up just short in Friday's closest match of the day. The final score was 6-7(6-8), 7-6(7-5), 10-8 against Boren Zheng from NYU.Â
- Also in the opening round, Mori lost to RPI's Aiden Drover-Mattinen 6-2, 6-3.Â
- King was eliminated by Alberto Thomas of TCNJ 6-1, 6-3 in round one.Â

DoublesÂ
- Both Skidmore duos advanced in the first round. Â
- Mori and King got past Pinder/Nirav-Shag (Rutgers-Camden) 8-7(7-5) before getting to the quarterfinals with an 8-6 victory over Hobart's Steiner/Linares in the Round of 16.Â
- Biernat and Goodman, the defending Liberty League Doubles Team of the Weak, cruised to an 8-3 win over Paredes/Mendoza of Baruch. They were eliminated by Hobart's Oyer/Vallabhajosula 8-5 in the second round.Â

DAY 2 – SATURDAY
Singles
- Goodman ran into the buzz saw of Griff in Saturday's first match. Griff, of Hamitlon, has not dropped a set yet in the tournament. The second-seeded singles player won his second match to advance to Sunday's semifinal.

Doubles
- After two Friday wins, Goodman and King kept it going with an 8-5 victory over Korwar/Anderson from Hamilton.
- Then, top-seeded Drover-Mattinen/Zhu of RPI got through Mori and King 8-2. The RPI duo will play Griff/Chavez of Hamilton in the title match on Sunday.
