NEW PALTZ, N.Y. – The Skidmore College field hockey team dropped a 3-0 decision to nationally 23
rd-ranked SUNY New Paltz on Wednesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Miranda Britton scored all three goals for New Paltz (4-0). She put the Hawks ahead with 1:36 remaining in the first quarter. Amanda Quenneville had the assist. It was New Paltz's fourth shot of the quarter. Victoria Bodnar made two saves prior for Skidmore (2-3) to keep it scoreless.
- The hosts doubled the lead with 5:27 left in the first half. Britton scored that one unassisted.
- The third and final goal of the game came with less than two minutes left in the game. Quenneville picked up her second assist on Britton's third goal.
- New Paltz took 20 corners to Skidmore's seven. Total shots were 20-2, and shots on goal were 14-1.
- Rachel Tama had 10 shots, seven on goal, for New Paltz, but did not factor into the scoring.
