Thoroughbreds stymied in pair at Ithaca

ITHACA, N.Y. – The Skidmore College softball team was able to muster just a single run on Sunday in a pair of loses at Ithaca. The Bombers took game one 4-1, before winning 6-0 in game two.

  • Elise Waddington was 2-for-3 in the win for the hosts.

Ithaca 6, Skidmore 0
  • Ithaca (23-12, 7-5 Liberty League) scored two runs in each of the first three innings.

  • The Thoroughbreds finished with three hits: one each from Finch, O'Connell, and Mallory Allen.
  • Skidmore loaded the bases in the first but was unable to score a run to draw first blood. The Thoroughbreds also left on a pair after putting the first two hitters on in the sixth both on walks.
