ITHACA, N.Y. – The Skidmore College men's lacrosse team scored seven of the final eight goals of the game, but the Thoroughbreds were unable to come all the way back to defeat Ithaca College, losing to the Bombers 15-10 in the regular season finale for both teams. Skidmore falls to 9-7 overall and 1-6 in the Liberty League, while Ithaca improves to 8-8 and 1-6.
 

• Tim Blue put the Thoroughbreds ahead five minutes into the first quarter with his ninth goal of the season.
• The Bombers rattled off nine consecutive goals to take a commanding lead.
• They scored four times in a minute span toward the end of the first quarter for a 6-1 advantage.
• Ithaca won 7 of 8 face offs in the opening frame.
• Charlie McFadden had a goal and an assist to help end the string and bring the visitors to within 9-3.
• Nicolo Mazzocca also scored and Charlie Kessler picked up an assist on McFadden's tally, his 33rd of the season.
• The Bombers countered with the next five goals and led 14-3 less than a minute into the second half.
• Three straight goals by three different Skidmore players put the score at 14-6.
• Blue made it 15-7 with his second of the game with 4:41 to play in the third.
• The Thoroughbreds held a 7-1 edge in shots in the fourth quarter on their way to scoring three times.
• Mazzocca tallied twice and Jimmy Gibbons ended the game's scoring, off an assist from David Koffler with 5:29 showing on the clock.
• McFadden finished with a goal and three assists, while Mazzocca scored three times with four ground balls.
• Marty McFadden had four ground balls and won 3 of 4 faceoffs.
• Avery Stamps stopped seven shots before Cameron Shipman relieved him.
• Ithaca's Cole Corrigan stopped 15 shots, while Kyle Proctor scored once with three assists.
