- From head coach Curt Speerschneider: "Very good follow up from yesterday. Yesterday was a long tough battle both physically and mentally, so I wasn't sure how they'd come out today. I'm so proud of how they responded coming out with a ton of energy and resolve to get this match. This was a big match for both teams and we competed very well from start to finish. When it was close and our opponents pushed us, we stood firm and pushed right back and raised our level as the match went on. This team is really trending upward, which is great to see going into the final weeks of the regular season" Â
UP NEXT: The Thoroughbreds travel to Vassar College on Sunday for a meeting of the top two teams in the Liberty League. Match time is scheduled for 2 p.m.
