HISTORICAL PERSPECTIVE
Skidmore needs to look back only a few weeks since its last success against Clarkson. Exactly one month ago in Potsdam, the Thoroughbreds defeated the Golden Knights in four sets for the team's first win over Clarkson in a dozen years. The series since 2002, though, is a close one. Clarkson leads 22-18. The Thoroughbreds and Golden Knights last met in the playoffs in the 2012 conference championship game. Clarkson won in four sets. One year earlier, it was Skidmore that upset top-seeded Clarkson in the championship match, 3-2.

NEXT
Tuesday's winner will advance to the conference semifinal Friday, Nov. 15 at Ithaca and will play against second-seeded William Smith.
