Skidmore ties 0-0 on the road at unbeaten Clarkson

POTSDAM, N.Y. – The Skidmore College men's soccer team battled host Clarkson to a scoreless tie on the road on Wednesday evening.
  • Skidmore has tied both of its Liberty League games, four total games in a row, and six out of eight games this season. The Thoroughbreds are 1-1-6.
  • Clarkson stretches its unbeaten start to nine games. The Golden Knights are 5-0-4 and 1-0-1 in the Liberty League.
  • Clarkson led 12-9 in shots, but Skidmore fired off five out of the game's six shots on goal.
  • Six yellow cards were shown in the match: five to Clarkson players. Clarkson was given two yellow cards in the final minute, three in the final eight minutes, and five in the second half.
  • Colin Goodhines let off two out of Skidmore's five shots on goal. Nick Jardim, Cole Rogan, and Tobias Catizone each had one.
  • Morgan Burke had the only shot on frame for the Golden Knights in the 66th minute. It was Will Devall's only save in earning his third clean sheet of the season for the Thoroughbreds.
  • For the hosts, Carter Kladstrup was called on to make five saves, including four in the second half.
  • Skidmore still leads the all-time series against Clarkson, 20-14-3. Clarkson won 3-1 in Saratoga Springs in 2023.
