MADISON, N.J. – The Skidmore College men's tennis team competed over the weekend at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Northeast Regional Championships over the weekend hosted by Drew University.

- In the singles main draw, sophomore Nika Mori advanced to the round of 32 with an 8-6 opening round win over Alberto Thomas of TCNJ.
- On Saturday, in the round of 32, Mori dropped an 8-2 decision to Hobart's Jacob Linares.
- Skidmore's other 9-16 seeded singles player, first year Yuval Goodman, lost a tight opening round match against Hamilton's Anson Anderson, 8-6.
- Josh Finkle and Louis Bourn both also competed in the singles main draw.
- The Thoroughbreds also had three teams in the doubles main draw. Â
NEXT UP: Skidmore will host the Skidmore East vs. The Rest Invitational Oct. 7-8 at the new outdoor courts at the McCaffery-Wagman Tennis and Wellness Center.
