SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.—The Skidmore College field hockey team left it all on the field in a 3-2 double overtime shootout loss to Ithaca College Saturday afternoon in Liberty League action at Wagner Park. The Thoroughbreds are 3-5 overall and 1-1 in league play. The Bombers move to 7-3 and 2-0.

CC Wetter scored both goals for Skidmore. Her first goal at 31:40 from
Brooke Golden put the Thoroughbreds up 1-0.
** Ithaca scored two goals in a 1:32 span of the fourth quarter to go up 2-1. Ainsley Grant scored her first of the season at 44:42 and Meara Bury put back a rebound at 44:42. Wetter forced overtime with her second goal off a corner at 49:30 when she redirected a
Kayla Hassett shot.
** Both teams had chances in the extra periods with play going end to end for the entire 20 minutes.
Victoria Bodnar had four of her season-high 14 saves in the extra time to keep the Thoroughbreds in it.
** Ithaca prevailed in the shootout 3-1.
Abby Ezickson connected for the Thoroughbreds.
** The Bombers had a 19-13 shot and 14-5 penalty corner advantage.
