Charlie McFadden was named the Liberty League Men's Lacrosse Offensive Performer of the Week for the week ending March 5. Meanwhile, the Thoroughbreds faceoff specialist
Jack Fitzpatrick appeared on the Honor Roll.

In an unbeaten week for Skidmore, McFadden scored nine goals and added one assist to 10 points. He also accumulated 13 shots, 10 of which went on target, and nine found the back of the net. His first goal against Alfred on Sunday went for the game winner. He finished the game with three goals.

Earlier in the week, McFadden scored six goals with an assist for a career-high seven points against Oneonta. Over the two games, he also had two ground balls, and caused two turnovers.

Fizpatrick had a dominant week in the faceoff circle. He won 26-of-38 (69.4 percent) of draws with a team-high 15 ground balls.

He went 14-7 on draws on Wednesday at Oneonta with one shot, and eight ground balls. Then, he went 12-5 against Alfred on Sunday with his first point of the year, an assist, with one shot, seven ground balls, and one caused turnover. He has won 66.1 percent of his faceoffs through three games on the year.

Skidmore will look to make it three wins in a row on Wednesday when it hosts Plattsburgh State at 3:30 p.m. Â
