CANTON, N.Y. – First year Nika Mori won a third-set tiebreaker at fourth singles to break a 4-4 tie and give the Skidmore College men's tennis team the win at St. Lawrence in its league opener on Saturday.
 

•  With all other matches decided, Mori completed his comeback by winning the winner-take-all tie breaker, 7-6. After falling in the first set 6-3, he came back with his own 6-3 set victory to force the deciding set.
• Mori also won at first doubles with Brendan Jimenez 8-4.
• Skidmore was ahead 2-1 after doubles play. Sergiu Celebidachi and Griffin Biernat won their match at second doubles, 8-6.
• Jimenez joined Mori and Celebidachi as a double winners. Jimenez was victorious at first singles in straight sets (7-5, 6-1).
• Celebidachi rolled to a 6-2, 6-3 win at second singles.
• NEXT UP: Skidmore will finish its weekend road trip on Sunday at RIT.
