MATCHUP:

• RPI swept the season series 70-57 Jan. 21 in Saratoga Springs and 74-61 Feb. 3 in Troy.
• In the game at home, Tautvydas Kupstas (16), Greg Skoric (13), and Riley Greene (10) scored in double figures for Skidmore.
• Kupstas (23), Greene (12), and Alexei Downie (12) led the Thoroughbred attack at RPI.
• Kupstas is tied for the league lead in scoring with 21.2 points per game. He's also the league's most accurate free-throw shooter at 85.5 percent.
• Skoric also has a share of the lead league in rebounding with a 10.5 per game average and is narrowly leading the block race, with 1.6 per game.

• RPI has the league's best scoring defense, allowing just 58.0 points per game. The Engineers score the second fewest, with a 64.1 average. The Thoroughbreds are third, scoring 72.0 points per game, while allowing 73.8.

• RPI was victorious in both head-to matchups this season.
• RPI leads in the all-time series: 43-34.
• In last season's semifinal, Skidmore went on the road and defeated RPI, the tournament's top seed, 70-53.
• RPI is 8-3 at home this season, while Skidmore is 6-4 on the road.
• After defeating RPI in the semifinal last year, Skidmore fell to Vassar in the championship game, 65-48. The Engineers earned an at-large berth to the NCAA Tournament and won two games to advance to the Sweet 16.
