  • Skidmore bumped the lead to 11, 69-58 on a Greene three with 3:26 to play that sealed the win.
  • The Thoroughbreds were 22-27 (81.5%) from the line, behind a 9-10 showing by Kupstas.
  • COACH JOE BURKE: "I'm super happy for our seniors who got a chance to play in front of a terrific crowd (thank you fans) in an awesome atmosphere. We get great support across the board and our administration, student body and all of Saratoga, where they're to help these guys celebrate their senior night with a win.
"When it comes to character, this is one of the finest groups I've ever had. We look for that in our recruits and we hit a home run with this class. They're better people than basketball players and they're pretty darn good players. I would also like to thank their parents for trusting me with the development of their kids. Our goal is to win a lot of games and championships, but it's also to help them grow as men and I can confidently say all these guys have.
"We now turn the page to the postseason. This program has had a lot of success in this department, and I don't expect anything less from this group. We go on the road to a place where we've played well and look forward to a tough battle with RPI once again."
  • NEXT UP: Skidmore and RPI will be playing for a third time, with the Engineers beating the Thoroughbreds twice. Skidmore knocked RPI out of the 2022 tournament with a 70-53 win in Troy.
