- Elmira swept the season series 4-1 in Elmira on Dec. 2 and 5-2 on Feb. 4 at the Saratoga Springs City Rink.
- Connor Wood scored the Skidmore goal in the first game. Elmira scored two empty net goals. Blaine Moore had 36 saves. In the rematch, Kaeden Patrick and Zach Lindewirth scored, while Moore (18) and Tate Brandon (7), combined for 25 saves.
- Everett Wardle leads the Thoroughbreds in points with 7 goals and 18 assists for 25 points. Patrick (13-9—22) and Wood (6-13—19) are next.

SERIES/POSTSEASON
- Elmira leads the all-time series 4-2 and has won three straight. Skidmore's last win was 3-2 at home on 12/4/21.
- Skidmore won two straight road games last season to advance to the NEHC Championship game at Babson. It was the team's first championship appearance. The Thoroughbreds and Soaring Eagles have never played each other in the postseason.
- Elmira is 10-4-0 at home this season, while the Thoroughbreds are 7-4-0 on the road.
- The Soaring Eagles lost at home to Babson in the 2022 NEHC semifinals 3-2 in overtime. The team did receive an NCAA at large bid, losing 4-2 to conference rival Hobart in the first round.
