MATCHUP:
  • Vassar won this season's regular season match in straight sets in late September.
  • The Brewers have a 27-18 edge in the head-to-head matchup going back to 2001.
  • Skidmore is led statistically by Jo Blanco with 1.86 kills per set. Carolyn Scott has 1.69. and Madison Manning has 1.58.
  • Jazlin Chen is third in the Liberty League in hitting percentage at .308 and leads with an average of 1.12 blocks per set.
  • Ella Harris is second in the league with 83 total blocks.
  • Noa Berger paces the team in assists with 274. She also has a team high 30 aces.

SERIES/POSTSEASON:
  • Skidmore is in the postseason for the first time since 2017. The Thoroughbreds won the Liberty League championship in 2011 and finished as the runner up in 2012. Skidmore previously won three consecutive Upstate Collegiate Athletic Association (UCAA) championships (1998-2000). The Thoroughbreds have made eight NCAA Tournament appearances.
  • Vassar is making its second consecutive playoff appearance. The Brewers have won seven UCAA/Liberty League titles, but none since 2006.
  • Skidmore and Vassar last played a Liberty League Tournament match against each other in 2010. Vassar won in five sets.
