SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – In the rain-soaked first day of the Skidmore East vs. The Rest Invitational men's tennis tournament, indoor play saw a pair of Skidmore doubles teams shine for the Thoroughbreds.
 

• The team of Josh Finkle and Fletcher King will compete in the B Flight Doubles semifinal Sunday morning at 9 a.m.
• The pair won a pair of matches on Saturday. They took down Shuda and Bahl of Tufts in the opening round, 8-6, before a resounding 8-4 win over fourth-seeded Legrand and H. Portnoy of Wesleyan. They will battle Ganchev and Djokic, the #1 seed, in the semis.
• Louis Bourn and Harrison Gradin also had an opening-round win in the B Flight Doubles. They took down Jackson and Kim of Middlebury, 8-5, before dropping a quarterfinal match against the #2 seeded squad from Denison.
• In the C Flight Singles draw, Adel Aissaoui had a tough assignment against the #1 seed Milan Gonela of Denison. Aissaoui fell in a third-sed tiebreak.
• King also won a set in the C Flight Singles section but dropped his opening round match in a tiebreaker.
