MIDDLEBURY, Vt. –Brendan Jimenez advanced to the A Flight Singles semifinals with a pair of wins Saturday at the Middlebury Men's Tennis Invitational.

• Jimenez, seeded fourth, opened with a 6-2, 6-3 win over Colby's Jake Cohen. He came back to beat Vuk Vuksanovic of Tufts 6-1, 7-5.He will take on top seed Aiden Drover-Mattinen of RPI on Sunday at 11 a.m. The championship match is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
• The doubles team of Jimenez and Sergiu Celebidachi will compete in the A Flight Doubles Backdraw. Celebidachi will also be in the A Flight Singles Backdraw. Niki Mori is in the C Flight Singles Backdraw, while the doubles team of Mori and Jude Ogilvie are in the B Flight Doubles Backdraw. Ogilvie is in the D Flight Singles Backdraw.
