Ameer Hasan remained unbeaten with a complete game 7-1 Liberty League win over Bard College to salvage a Skidmore split with the Raptors after Bard won the first game 9-8 in 13 innings. Hasan is now 6-0. The Thoroughbreds are 22-6-1 overall, 10-3 in Liberty League play and 9-2 in LL Division. Bard is 12-13, 6-7 and 4-3. The teams play the series rubber match at 12 p.m. Sunday at Castle Diamond.

GAME 1
- Skidmore scored three runs in the top of the ninth to go up 8-4, but the Raptors responded with four in their half of the inning to send the game into extra innings. All four runs were unearned.
- Max Mello had three of the team's nine hits, going 3-5. Owen Fitzhugh was 1-2 with two RBI. Jaden Torrado was 2-5 with two runs.
- Bard pitchers combined for 16 strikeouts.
- Jack Clark started and allowed three runs (none earned) in seven innings. He gave up eight hits on had seven strikeouts with no walks.
- Ethan Caiazza matches his longest stint of the season, going 3.1 innings in relief. He dropped to 0-2 after allowing one run two hits with one strikeout and two (one intentional) walks.
GAME 2
- Hasan (6-0) rescued the Thoroughbreds with another consistent performance. He allowed one run on seven hits with one walk and no strikeouts.
- Jackson Hornung extended his hit streak to 18 games and his program record on base streak to 36 games. He went 2-4 with a pair of runs. It was his 17th multi hit in 29 games this season. He's hitting a league-high .456.
- Trey Bourque was 3-4 with an RBI single. Owen Fitzhugh was 1-3 with a two-run double in the fourth inning. Danny Melillo was 3-3 with an RBI single.
