- This marks the third meeting between the teams this year.
- Hobart has won both games by one goal.
- Statesmen defeated the Thoroughbreds in overtime (4-3) in Saratoga Springs in early December.
- Hobart scored five unanswered after falling behind early to beat Skidmore in Geneva on Feb. 5.
- Last week, Skidmore won its first postseason game since 2012 with a 5-3 victory over third-seeded UMass Boston.
- Hobart took care of business against Southern Maine, 5-2, in its quarterfinal.

- This marks the second meeting between the programs in the playoffs. Hobart defeated Skidmore, 4-2, in a 2020 quarterfinal matchup.
