SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The Skidmore College women's volleyball recognized its seniors and celebrated with victories over Sage (25-15, 25-21, 26-24) and SUNY Potsdam (25-21, 23-25, 25-18, 25-23) on Saturday to close the Skidmore Invitational.

Skidmore 3, Sage 0
- Skidmore (10-15) hit .299 as a team, and was well over .400 over the first two sets in the sweep of the Gators.
- Seniors led the way. Audrey Powell had 22 assists, including her 1,000th-career assist, and four kills. She finishes her three-season career with 1,033 assists (4.63 assists/set).
- Fellow senior Chelsea Winegar had 15 kills, four aces, and seven digs to lead the Thoroughbreds' attack.
- Classmate Alex Estey had nine kills and three aces.
- Another senior, Elizabeth Miller, had 12 digs.
- Winegar's serve, which consisted of three aces, won nine consecutive points in the first set to give the Thoroughbreds a comfortable cushion.
- It was tight throughout the majority of the second set. Winegar kills got Skidmore to 23 and 24 before Jazlin Chen put it away with one of her three kills.
- Skidmore was tested in the third and faced set point at 24-21. Noa Berger got a service ace and three consecutive Sage hitting errors clinched the sweep.

Skidmore 3, Potsdam 1
- The Thoroughbreds avenged a four-set defeat at the hands of the Bears a week ago at Clarkson.
- Estey led the way with a dozen kills and four blocks.
- Sophie Sacco and Winegar put down nine kills each. Sacco also had three blocks, while Winegar had 10 digs.
- After being honored as part of the Senior Day festivities, Bella Klosterman and Olivia Knowlton contributed on both sides. Klosterman had 21 digs and a pair of aces, and Knowlton registered seven kills.
- Powell produced her highest assist output relative to sets played on the year. She had 27 (6.75/set). Tiffany Flores tallied 25.
- The first game played back-and-forth until Skidmore came through with four straight after being tied at 19.
- Skidmore built a solid lead in the third thanks to a 7-1 mid-set run.
- The Thoroughbreds came out hot in the fourth game, but Potsdam fought back to tie it up at 22. Sacco drilled one to give Skidmore the lead and an attack error on the other side produced match point. Potsdam got one back before a service error ended it.
