Skidmore looking to move up with weekend home stand

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.—The Skidmore College men's basketball team will look to move up in the Liberty League standings when the Thoroughbreds welcome RIT and Union to the Williamson Sports Center gym this weekend.
 
Only Skidmore students, faculty and staff with valid ID and KN95 masks will be allowed to attend this weekend's games. No outside fans will be permitted. The Thoroughbreds play RIT on Friday at 7:30 p.m. and Union at 4 p.m. on Saturday.
 
Skidmore is 7-6 overall and 3-4 in league play. The Tigers are 6-8 and 4-4, while the Dutchmen are 7-7 and 4-4.
 
Four Thoroughbreds are scoring in double digits, led by Tautvydas Kupstas with 17.2 ppg. Greg Skoric (14.9), Ty Lamport (13.5) and Harrison Eichelberger (12.1) round out the top scorers. Kupstas is second in league scoring and first in three-pointers per game (3.5). Skoric leads the league in blocks (2.3) and is second in rebounds (11.1). Riley Greene tops the league in assists with 5.1 per game.
 
Skidmore is in the midst of a six-game home stand. The Thoroughbreds conclude the season with six road games, including an unscheduled make-up roadie with RIT.
