SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.— Skidmore College recognized 171 Thoroughbred Society recipients for their academic achievements in a Sept. 23 ceremony in the Williamson Sports Center.
 
The student-athletes each received a 3.67 grade point average or higher for the semester.
 

President Marc Conner, Gail Cummings-Danson, assistant vice president for student affairs and director of athletics, tennis player Lily Feldman '22 and soccer and basketball standout Bobby Stratts '22 addressed the honorees and their faculty and staff guests.  
 
The women's crew had a 3.76 team Grade Point Average, while men's ice hockey posted a 3.65 team GPA. There were 40 student-athletes with a perfect 4.0, including nine riding team members.
 
The women's soccer and men's hockey teams each had 17 players earn the award.
