Liz Foley kept digging and finally came up with the ball and then the goal in 35 seconds into the second overtime to give the Skidmore College women's soccer team a 2-1 overtime win against SUNY New Paltz.

The Thoroughbreds are 2-1, while the Hawks fall to 0-2-1.

Ella Stone put Skidmore in front when she placed a rocket into the far side top corner from 30 yards out in the 25
th minute.

Rachel Eisert tied it with a one-timer off a corner from Dana Salinas at 68:04.

After a scoreless first overtime,
Katheryn Dunn got a shot off that New Paltz goalie Kyra Russell saved, but had a tough time handling the ball that came loose on the goal line. Foley won the possession battle and came through with her first collegiate goal and the game-winner.

Shots were 16-15 Skidmore, with New Paltz holding a 7-6 corner edge.
Ava Keller had seven saves with one in overtime. Russo finished with five saves.
