Note: In absence of traditional Senior Days, there will be a team-by-team salute to senior athletes of the Class of 2021. The presentations were prepared with head coach input.
 
Congratulations to the baseball class of 2021!
 
Andrew Knight is a co-captain who majored in business and was a Liberty League All- Academic member as well as a Thoroughbred society member.  Andrew was off to a great start catching and offensively in 2020 before the season was cut short. He had a big double in a win vs. St. Lawrence to keep the team's playoff chances alive.
 
Jake Hardy is a co-captain who majored in psychology.   Jake led the team with a .429 batting average in 2020 and was second on the in RBI.  During his sophomore year, Jake had one of the most remarkable at bats in Skidmore history a 19-pitch at bat that was punctuated with a blast out of the ball park. He also hit .375 his senior year.
 
Matt McQuaid is a co-captain and double major in business and economics.  Matt pitched five strong innings in relief in the final game of 2020 for the win. His senior year he had an outstanding season as a relief pitcher recording 2 wins and 3 saves out of the team's 7 wins. Overall, Matt led the pitching staff with 18 strikeouts.
 
Sam Browning is a co-captain who majored in business.  He was a multiple All-Liberty League Academic member.  Sam will go down as one of the best power hitters in program history. He hit .393, leading the team in RBI and extra base hits. His senior year, he hit huge 3-run homers vs. RPI and Bard, finishing the year with four home runs. Sam also got the save on the mound in two games.
