GENEVA, N.Y.—The Skidmore College men's tennis team handed Hobart College its first loss of the season, 7-2 in Liberty League play Saturday.
 
The Thoroughbreds (2-0, 2-0 Liberty) have won 43 straight Liberty League matches. The Statesmen are 2-1 and 1-1.
 
Kevin Ha and Tristan Thiebaut won 8-7 (7-2) at number two doubles. Ha had a 6-2, 6-3 win at number six singles, while Thiebaut won 6-3, 6-4 at number five.
 
Skidmore is at Vassar April 10.
