Box Score 2 SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.—The Skidmore College softball team rode a pair of strong pitching performances and some timely hitting to 4-2, 6-1 Liberty League wins over St. Lawrence University Tuesday at Wagner Park.

The Thoroughbreds are 4-6 overall and in Liberty League play, while the Saints fall to 5-14 and 5-11. Skidmore hosts Clarkson in a pair on Thursday at 2 p.m.

GAME 1

Lindsey Raimondi didn't allow a hit through the first five innings on the way to her second win of the season. She allowed one hit and two runs (one earned) with a walk and a career-high nine strikeouts.

Kaitlyn Judd went 3-4 with three RBI. She had a towering solo home run to center field in the third inning to go along with an RBI single in the first and an RBI double in the fifth.

Delaney Corbet had two hits each for the Thoroughbreds.

Meghan Robertson won the night-cap with a three hitter. She allowed one run with one walk and seven strikeouts.

Skidmore did all of its scoring in a 6-run second inning. Â
Megan White was 3-4 with an RBI double. Â
Genesis Delgado was 1-4 with an RBI single, McGonagle was 1-2 with an RBI single, Mathias was 1-4 with an RBI single, and Robertson helped her cause, going 1-4 with an RBI single. Anderson and Wilkie were both 2-4.
