PAXTON, Mass.— Freshman
Kaeden Patrick scored two goals and had two assists to lead the Skidmore College hockey team to a 6-2 non-league win over Anna Maria College Friday.

The Thoroughbreds are 1-1 to start the season, while the Amcats are 0-1-2.

Patrick set-up Zach Linewirth for a 1-0 lead at 5:13 of the first.

Anna Maria tied it with a power-play goal at 00:49 of the second period. The Thoroughbreds rattled off the next four goals to open up a 5-1 lead.
Everett Wardle began the streak with a power-play goal at 5:16 of the second from Patrick and
Reid Russell.
Danny Magnuson made it 3-1 at 10:53 with
Troy Daniels credited with the helper.

Patrick connected with a power-play tally at 3:29 of the third period from
Will Dow-Kenny and picked-up his second goal at 7:31 with Wardle assisting. After an Anna Maria power-play goal at 11:12,
Zach Frisk made it 6-2 at 12:45 from
Thomas Finck and
Devon Mussio.

Skidmore out had a commanding 40-21 shot advantage.
Tate Brandon stopped 19 shots for his first collegiate victory.

The Thoroughbreds open NEHC play at home Nov. 12 against top ranked Norwich University at 7 p.m. The game will mark the return of the popular Pack the Rink night.
