Engineers run out clock on Thoroughbreds, 2-1

TROY, N.Y. – A late push for the equalizer by the Skidmore College field hockey team was snuffed by the Rensselaer defense as the Engineers defeated the Thoroughbreds, 2-1, in Liberty League action on Saturday morning.

RPI improves to 5-6 overall and 2-1 in the Liberty League. With four conference games remaining, Skidmore is 6-7 and 1-2.
