TROY, N.Y.—Skidmore scored four first-half goals on the way to a 4-1 road win over Rensselaer Saturday evening.
The win has the Thoroughbreds are 4-3-1 overall and 1-1-1 in Liberty League play. The Engineers are 4-2-3 and 1-1-1.
Vanessa Eljaiek scored the game's first two goals at 19:02 and 24:28. Elia Stone and
Paige Karl assisted.
Olivia Allen made it 3-0 at 31:25 and
Liz Saraceno closed out the half with a goal at 35:37.
RPI broke the shutout in the 72
nd minute.
Ava Keller was sharp in net with a season-high 10 saves.
Skidmore is at Hartwick Oct. 6 for a non-league game.
