Sophia Hettler is an international affairs major and an Italian language and economics minor from New York City. Because of her versatility, Sophia served in range of capacities for the Thoroughbreds over her four-year career: as a middle hitter, an opposite and, over the last two seasons, as a six rotation outside hitter, a position that allowed her to contribute to this team both offensively and defensively. During her senior year, Sophia ranked second in total kills and digs and third in points.
Â
Lauren Wolters is a psychology and history double major from San Francisco. She served the volleyball team as both a 6-2 and 6-1 setter. During her four years, Lauren led the team in both assists and service aces three times and finished her career ranked sixth in assists and assist per sets in the Thoroughbred record book. Defensively, Lauren showed much improvement, as shown by her digs per set totals increasing every year.
Â
Katy Ehnstrom is a health and human physiological sciences major from Kaneohe, Hawaii. She started as a middle hitter for the Thoroughbreds all four years. Katy led the team in hitting percentage every year and finishes her Skidmore career ranked second in hitting percentage, sixth in blocks per set, and ninth in kills per set (third among middle hitters.) She was All-Liberty League every year and earned team MVP and All- American honors her junior and senior years. She recently received the Skidmore Senior Scholar-Athlete Award.

All three seniors have been Academic All-Conference every year and started the program's rebuilding phase their rookie year.  They compiled the highest numbers of career wins since 2014. Their contribution has established the base for years to come and is appreciated by everyone of their young teammates. Their very different personalities and their on-court leadership will certainly be missed.
