The Skidmore College softball team presents the Class of 2020.
Heather Mak is a health and human physiological science major from Manchester, N.H. A four year member of the softball program, she has exemplified the philosophy of being a Division III student athlete. Heather, an outfielder and catcher, was named a team captain this season while being a five-time Thoroughbred Society member. She tallied up 42 hits throughout her career while being named Liberty League All-American Team in 2019 and 2020. Heather will be continuing her education, working toward a Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Washington University in St. Louis.

Maddie Nelson is a biology major with a concentration in Integrated biology and a minor in health and human physiological sciences from West Bountiful, Utah. Maddie is a catcher and third basemen who had 32 hits and a .326 on base percentage throughout her career. Her passion and energy that she brought to every practice and every game is unmatched. After graduation, Maddie will be working in a clinic in Georgia and then doing clinical research with intentions of becoming a physician's assistant.Â

Emily Popp is a biology major concentrating in ecology, evolution and behavior, while minoring in environmental science and studies from Milton, Conn. Emily is a two-time captain and a member of the Thoroughbred Society. Throughout her career, she recorded 111 hits and led the T-Bred's to 29 wins in the circle. This season, Emily earned three of the teams five wins during its Florida spring trip. Emily's constant positive energy and selflessness was a vital component to the success of the team. Upon earning her degree, Emily will be pursuing a career in outdoor environmental education or nursing.
