FT. MYERS, Fla.—The Skidmore College baseball team closed out its abbreviated season with a 7-6 win over Lakeland University Saturday in Florida.
The Thoroughbreds finish 6-4, while the Muskies are 2-6.
It was an emotional game for both teams, but especially for Skidmore seniors

Down 6-1, the Thoroughbreds rallied with three in the sixth, one in the seventh, and one in the eighth.
Sam Browning was 2-5 with a pair of RBI doubles, including the eventual winning RBI in the eighth.
Jake Hardy and
Andrew Knight had two hits each.
Matt McQuaid got the win in relief. He went 5.1 innings, allowing one unearned run on two hits with seven strikeouts and no walks.
"I couldn't be prouder of this team for the way they handled themselves through a difficult situation," said Skidmore coach
