GRANTHAM, Pa.—Messiah College outscored Skidmore 7-1 in the second half to break open a close game on the way to a 15-6 women's lacrosse win Wednesday.
Skidmore is 0-5, while Messiah is 4-2.
Vivian Foley led the Thoroughbreds with two goals.
Avery Geddes,
Emily Hirsch,
Katie Amorosino, and
Amelia Bassett all scored.
Mac Dill had three caused turnovers and a ground ball.
Amanda Cagnassola had four ground balls and
Kathleen Hanna added three caused turnovers and two draw controls.
Skidmore's next game is scheduled for March 28 at 12 p.m. at Bard College.
