ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – The Skidmore College women's basketball team picked up a Liberty League win in dominating fashion with a 75-34 win at Bard College 75-34 Saturday afternoon.

The Thoroughbreds improve to 5-16 and 3-11 in Liberty League play, while the Raptors drop to 5-16 and 0-14.

Five Skidmore players tallied double-digits as
Jessica Centore led the way with 17 points.
Kate McCarney(15),
Lilly Berg (12),
Clare Driscoll (11), and
Maddie Hastings (10) each finished with double-digits. Driscoll and Hastings had seven rebounds apiece. Driscoll added two blocks and two steals.

Christina Kiser led for the Raptors with 12 points alongside four steals. Caleigh DeCaprio contributed an additional 10 points.

The Thoroughbreds came out strong in the first quarter, outscoring the Raptors 13-7. With 3:31 remaining in the first quarter, a layup by Driscoll started a 9-0 scoring run that continued into the second quarter to put Skidmore up 17-7. The Thoroubreds kept extended the lead to 13 points with 57 seconds remaining in the half. Couture was able to slightly close the gap for the Raptors with a late jumper to make it 32-21 going into the break.

Skidmore blew it open after the break, holding Bard to just four points in a 23-4 third quarter. The Thoroughbreds used a 22-0 scoring run in the third quarter to open a 55-25 lead. McCarney hit three three-pointers, while Centore added an additional eight points.

The Thoroughbreds finished it off with a 20-9 fourth quarter for the 75-34 final.

Skidmore returns home Feb. 14 to face St. Lawrence in the first of a Liberty League double-header at 5:30 p.m.
