GENEVA, N.Y. – Hobart College downed Skidmore College 93-67 in the season finale for the Thoroughbreds.
 
The Thoroughbreds finish the season at 7-18 overall and 6-12 Liberty League play. The Statesmen are 21-4 and 15-3.
 
Greg Skoric finished with a double-double of 25 points and 13 rebounds to lead Skidmore in both scoring and in the paint. Harrison Eichelberger contributed a season-high 19 points alongside nine rebounds, while Tautvydas Kupstas added 15 points.
 
Tucker Lescoe led the Statesmen with 38 points.
 
The Thoroughbreds kept in close in the ten minutes of play. It wasn't until there was 9:33 remaining on the clock that the Statesmen were able to gain a substantial lead off a 10-0 scoring run. The run would help Hobart gain their largest lead of 19 points, as Skidmore went into the locker room trailing 45-28 at the end of the half.
 
The Statesmen opened the lead in the second half behind 11-19 (58%) shooting from beyond the arc on the way to the 93-67 win.
