SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.— Skidmore College recognized a record 245 Thoroughbred Society recipients for academic achievements during the Spring 2020 semester.
 
The student-athletes each received a 3.67 grade point average or higher for the semester. Three athletes competed in two sports.
 
There were a record 75 perfect 4.0 honorees, including 11 from the men's ice hockey team.
 
Eight teams had an average GPA over 3.7, let by women's crew with a 3.81.  Ice hockey, riding, women's basketball, field hockey, women's swimming and diving, women's tennis and women's soccer were also over the 3.70 mark.
