SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The Skidmore College basketball teams return home this weekend to for key Liberty League games. The Thoroughbreds face Bard College on Friday Jan 24 followed by Union College on Jan 25.

The women's game times are 5:30 p.m. against Bard and 2 p.m. against Union, while the men tip at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and 4 p.m. on Saturday.

The Thoroughbred women are 0-8 over the first half of the league schedule and 2-13 overall. Captain
Jessica Centore continues to lead Skidmore with 12.3 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.2 steals per game.
Kate McCarney (11.9 points) and
Clare Driscoll (9.3 points) are also scoring in double figures. Skidmore will then face Union College on Saturday at 2 p.m.

The Bard women's are searching for their first against Liberty League victory with an 0-8 conference and 5-10 overall record. Christina Kiser who is averaging a league-high 22.5 points a game. Union is 6-7 overall and 3-4 in league play. Elly Vaughan is averaging a team-high 9.6 points and 7.1 rebounds per game.

The Thoroughbred men are coming off a Liberty League victory Tuesday against Vassar. The Thoroughbreds are 4-4 in Liberty League action and 5-10 overall. After scoring 20 points against Vassar,
Tautvydas Kupstas has been dominating in scoring for the Thoroughbreds, averaging 14.5 points.
Ty Lamport has also been electric on both ends of the court, averaging 10.5 points along with 1.1 steals and 5.5 rebounds per game.

Bard College (0-14, 0-8) bring a 15-game losing streak to the Williamson Center. The Raptors are led by Elliot Harris who is averaging 14.8 points. Union College (9-4, 6-2) will be a different story. Mike Concannon leads the Dutchmen with 13.4 points per game. Rhona Eseyade dominates in the paint with 6.0 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game.
