SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The Skidmore College men's soccer team continues its home stand this Saturday and Sunday, as it hosts the Skidmore College Alumni Invitational. The Thoroughbreds will welcome St. John Fisher College, Richard Stockton University, and Oswego State College to Wachenheim Field.
Skidmore will take on St. John Fisher at 3 p.m. on Saturday. In game one, Stockton will face Oswego at noon. The semifinal winner will face-off Sunday at 2 p.m., just after the 11 a.m. consolation contest.

The Thoroughbreds come into this weekend with a 2-0 record, having defeated Keuka and Lasell by matching 4-1 scores. The Thoroughbreds have tallied four or more goals in each of its last four regular season contests, dating back to last season.

Stanley Langyintuo set a Skidmore record in the season opener Friday, tallying four goals. He was honored by the Liberty League on Tuesday, named to the league's honor roll. He currently leads the league and is second nationally with five goals. Senior midfielder

St. John Fisher College, members of the Empire 8, comes into the weekend with an 0-2 record. The Cardinals dropped a pair of road games last weekend to Geneseo and Susquehanna.
Freshman midfielder Ishaan Kashyap scored St. John Fisher's lone goal over the weekend, a seventh-minute strike against Susquehanna. His classmate, forward Ben Woolingham, tallied the assist. In goal, sophomore Aaron Smith made two starts, tallying a 3.14 goals against average and a .714 save percentage in 171:52 minutes. Fellow sophomore goalie Peyton Mattis played the final 8:08 against Susquehanna.
Stockton, members of the NJAC, enters the weekend with a 2-1 record. After dropping the season opener against New Paltz, the Ospreys responded with two big victories, a 6-1 romp over Centenary and an 1-0 triumph over 17th-ranked Franklin and Marshall.
It's a balanced scoring effort by Stockton, led by junior midfielder Ervin Gjeli. He has one goal and two assists for four points. He also tallied the game-winning goal against Franklin and Marshall. Junior defender Max Bond has three points, tallying a goal and an assist. He assisted on the aforementioned Gjeli game-winner on Wednesday. Drew Ruble, Brendan Deal, Michael Echeverria, and Bobby Riordan have all scored goals, with Kyle Leach, John Maxted, and Ian Byrne tallying assists. Junior goalkeeper Dino Gromitsaris has shouldered the load in net, tallying an 0.71 goals against average with an .833 save percentage in 252:28 minutes. Senior goalie Travis Yates was spotless in 17:32 minutes against Centenary.
Oswego State College, members of the SUNYAC, enters the weekend with a 1-1 record. The Lakers defeated Morrisville by a 1-0 score before falling at Hamilton, 2-0.
In Oswego's 1-0 victory at Morrisville, sophomore forward Slater Bushen tallied the game-winner with 11 seconds to go before half. Junior goalkeeper Brian Terra held down the fort, making four saves to earn the shutout. He sports a 1.00 goals against average and an .800 save percentage after two games and 180 minutes played.
