MIDDLEBURY, Vt.— Top-ranked Middlebury College remained unbeaten with a 3-0 win over Skidmore College in field hockey action Tuesday night at Kohn Field.
The Thoroughbreds are 3-5, while the Panthers rise to 7-0.

Jess Gaetgens kept the Thoroughbreds in the game with three first-half saves after an early Middlebury goal. She finished with nine total.
The Panthers outshot Skidmore 16-0 and had an identical 16-0 corner advantage.
The Thoroughbreds return to Liberty League action Saturday at St. Lawrence with a 2 p.m. start.
