SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.—Three different players scored in Skidmore's 3-1 field hockey win over 19
th ranked Hamilton College Tuesday afternoon at Wagner Park.

It was the first win of the season for the young Thoroughbreds who are 1-2. The Continentals are 1-2.

First-year players scored two of Skidmore's three goals and
Sarah Winters had three assists.

Jordan Mjaatvedt scored her first goal of the season when she redirected a shot from Winters at 6:00. Winters set-up
Carly Shea for her first collegiate goal at 27:24 for a 2-0 advantage.

Hamilton cut it to 2-1 early in the third quarter when Maura Holden tipped-in Lizzie Clarke's shot at 39:21.
Marley Wahler's insurance goal at 52:10 secured the win. It was her first collegiate goal and Winters had her third assist of the game.

Hamilton outshot Skidmore 15-10, while each team had eight corners.

Jess Gaetgens kept the Hamilton off the board early with six of her 11 saves coming in a busy first quarter. She stuffed one breakaway and had stopped two second chance attempts.

Maggie Reville had five saves for Hamilton.

Skidmore will host #18 Babson on Friday at 4 p.m.
